Director Martyn Burke noted that, "Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are the true revolutionaries of our time. Not the students who occupied the dean’s office in the late ’60s. Not the anti-war marchers who were determined to overthrow the establishment. Jobs and Gates are the ones who changed the way the world thinks, acts and communicates. (Source: Courtesy of wikipedia)
To me I don't know Steve Jobs, I don't know Steve Wozniak or Bill Gates until in 1999 when I was studying in the University of Mulitimedia, in Cyberjaya, it's hard not to mention their names. It was either mention from your friends or even your lecturers.
To me, one of the most important figures that not only changed my life but, I believe many people's life as we all need to use computers in our daily life is something we need to appreciate and understand. What it means to keep evolving and changing for a better future especially the next generation is a never ending task especially in my line of career.
What's interesting is a post added in utube "The Best Place to Work in the World" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwMI1oeQJYc&feature=player_embedded)
How cool is this? The post in this utube reminds me the movie in "Pirates of the Silicon Valley". What they show you here is probably just the perks and the good stuff if you want to promote your company. However, wouldn't it be nice if we all can work like that :>
